I started running during the first Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020. Initially, I followed the Couch to 5k programme and have since developed my running further. In early 2022, I joined Lliswerry Runners. In addition, to training with the club, I am now also a member of the club committee.
I'm an alright runner. I've been pleasantly surprised, but it is all relative. At every event there are plenty of people who are far faster than I am. Sometimes I do aim to break a personal best time but if one is always focused on that they will miss out on a lot of the joy, exploration and experience of running.
What follows is largely a log of running events largely for my own interest, but I thought I would share it here. My current personal best times are in bold.
